Reading Community Church (RCC) was formed in July 2005 when two existing churches known as Tilehurst Free Church and Groveland’s Christian Fellowship joined together under the leadership of Adeyinka Oyekan.
RCC is a warm and friendly church with a lively style of worship and a desire to hear and carry out the Word of God. We try to relate to people of all ages, with children’s work,
We see ourselves as part of God’s one church in Reading, and we network with other Christians in the town and beyond to help build the Kingdom of God in any way we can. In particular we play an active role and support Reading Christian Network – whose vision is to see the transformation of communities in and around the town by the love and power of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Petra was formed in 1994 by eight adults and a handful of children. Initially we met as a house church but in 1999 we moved our main Sunday meeting to our local Social Centre which is central to the two villages in which we work. Our transition from being a house church to meeting in the heart of the community came as a result of a Word from God which said “Go and be a witness to Me in this place”
Since that time we have established two village youth clubs with a strong Christian emphasis that run on a weekly basis. The clubs cover an age range of 8 – 16 and we regularly see between forty an fifty young people every week. Both the clubs have been very well received and supported by members of the community including Parish and District Councils.
We also facilitate a single parent support group which runs on the first Saturday morning of every month, initially this was not well attended but we now have a strong core of people who really value the group. This is very much a friendship support group, but many of those who attend have appeared at church meetings and forged strong links with the church family.
In partnership with a local Christian youth organisation we operate a youth mentoring scheme in our local secondary school, this takes place every week and is highly valued by the school and the pupils that are involved.
Church activities include the usual mix of bible study, prayer, discipleship and youth groups. Our youth group being very involved in leading a monthly youth celebration which involves many young people from other local churches.

Tetbury Community Church (TCC) is a Barnabas church plant started in September 2007. Still very much in its infancy the church is incredibly active and seeks people wishing to live out in the community the things that Jesus taught.
The Church orgamizes itself around three simple purposes:
To reach out to people who don’t know Jesus and to demonstrate the love of God, through word, action and deeds.
To nurture and equip people to live a life with Jesus and to send them out to do the same.
To be a welcoming family and community expressing our love for God through worship and our love for one another.
